The Bottom Line: How to Promote
and Price Your Decorated Products • 1:45 p.m.-3:30 p.m.

Jimmy Lamb, Hirsch International Corp.

Want to understand the bottom-line issues impacting your decorating business? This informative session will answer the two most important questions every decorator needs to know.

  • What Are You Selling? If you think you're just selling embroidery, you're wrong. You're selling innovative products that use embroidery to deliver a branded message. Positioning your products in a creative way is a critical part of the sales and marketing process – and can be the difference between success and failure.
  • What Are You Charging? Pricing is one of the most difficult challenges embroidery business owners face, yet it’s also one of the most critical elements of running a profitable business. This session will show shop owners how to gather and analyze business data in order to generate a baseline cost for sewing, which becomes the foundation for a legitimate pricing system for their businesses. In addition, you'll learn several different pricing approaches, including stitch-count pricing, flat-rate pricing and all-inclusive pricing.
